I finally did it - got laser eye surgery, its amazing and scary at the same time. I can see!!! I am having some distant fuzziness, they say it will get better within the week and that I'm ok to drive but its still a little scary, my eye doctor said that 20/40 is legal to drive - that's scary that people drive without being able to see the signs clearly, it does scare me a little, good thing I wasn't looking for street signs earlier today, I couldn't see them until I got right up to the street. Hopefully, by this weekend, the fuzziness will clear up and eye drops seem to help with the fuzziness, clearing up to 20/20 which means as soon as my eyes heal completely within the next 10 days, I should have at least 20/25 vision or better yet 20/20 vision
Its amazing though, I can tell you that my windows all seem to be dirty, never noticed that before, the clarity of being able to see close up without having to put in contacts or glasses, to be able to see the tiny dust particles, wow, what a difference.
Was it worth it? Hell yes, as soon as the fuzziness goes away, even better. Night driving, I wonder if I'll get the halos and starbursts - hopefully not, my mom said she didn't, I'll guess I'll see tomorrow night. My eyes aren't feeling gritty or sandy just feels like I have cotton in the corner of my left eye.
I'd love to take tomorrow off and rest some more but since its the end of the month and I need to pay rent, I'm going in to work, eye drops are helping with the fuzziness and this weekend I'll take it easy and rest.
