Thoughts on Yesterday's Webinar for the Medical Uses of the Treo 600

First of all I have to thank palmOne for being invited to participate in this presentation. A smartphone supporting the Palm OS is the most desireable single device to carry for medical applications. I'd also like to thank DrFirst for their support in producing this webinar. With the growing use of eprescribing and enterprise-wide support for clinical data, I feel the smartphone platform will gain in acceptance. And currently, the Treo 600 is best designed to provide the most functionality.

I was impressed with the flurry of questions that people were typing into the Q&A window as soon as the presentation started. I realize now that it's hard in an hour's time to give a full idea of this device's full capability. It's only after you've actually used it for a few weeks, checking your email, running medical software, using Palm apps that you can appreciate it's design and the convenience it provides.
