It was the best of times, it was the worst of times
The opening sentence of A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens (referring to the time of the French Revolution) can be applied to our Thanksgiving Holiday of 2003. Looking at "the best of times" we had a wonderful holiday with family and friends.
The best of timesSteve spent the holiday in the bay area, so we all were able to spend the holiday together. We had Thanksgiving with Kathy, Nicole's mom, and her family enjoying a great dinner at Kathy's house. They are very nice and generous people. We played cards that evening, That was a lot of fun. We had several other family get togethers. We took a break from family activities to join some friends Saturday night who were celebrating their 25th anniversary. The family get togethers culminated with a nice dinner Sunday at Jeff and Nicole's house. We all got to spend great quality time together! We even celebrated Sue's coming birthday. Stay tuned; Tomorrow the worst of times...
