Do you guys know about L'Atelier?
Catalog copy reads: "This ruffled un-constructed piece screams, `Knit me.'" (Of course it does, the non-member kit price is $259!)
L'Atelier has launched a fabulous online catalog pairing premium and eponymous-brand yarns with designs of their own making. (They are quick to point out that should you not like their choice of fiber, they are happy to suggest alternatives.) I adore the above sweater, but don't you think it would drape better in linen?
In other news: Schlumpy took a big leap forward last night, when I finished button bands and wedged a set-in sleeve into its socket. ("Wedge" being a euphemism for my finishing skills.) Unbelievable, but the Kool-aid monster is starting to look like a sweater.
