I wanna knit

this...

and this...

and this...

Mags Kandis/Faye Jacket

and this...

Mags Kandis/Bay Bolero

and this...

Phildar cardigan pattern 483

all for me! (Bad, selfish knitter!)

Clearly I'm in the midst of a long-standing project that I'd like to dispatch with a flick of the needles. Otherwise, I wouldn't be flirting with so many sweaters. Can a girl have too many sweaters?

Daily rant: Didn't knit last night, instead I gave myself a pedicure--something of a futile gesture, but a gesture nonetheless. I write of the futility of it all because  my feet have a propensity for forming callouses--thick, crusty, reptilian callouses, seemingly immune to pumice. Makes it easy to walk on hot asphalt, but when the NY Times reports that women are having plastic surgery on their tootsies to showcase their Manolo Blahniks, I want to knit socks, a lot of them, and hide my me ugly dawgs.

Summer's coming...short of surgery, any suggestions for eradicating nasty callouses on your paws?
