Nake-id Knits road trip progress

The back of the Audrey Shell was completed during a seven-hour road trip to Albuquerque. The eyelets at the top of the piece are destined to house a thick black satin ribbon that I'll tie on the shoulder. I'm thinking another week or two and I'll have a sassy little top for evening wear.
Albuquerque yarn store report: Village Wools on San Mateo NE is a full-service yarn store catering to knitters, weavers, spinners, needle felters and silk painters. They carry a fabulous array of books, patterns, kits (including Hanne Falkenberg), buttons and many yarns I've only seen in ads. Plus, they have an in-house standard poodle, who's a love!
Daily rant: Sit down and log on (so to speak). Have you heard about Microsoft's iLoo? MSN UK is web-enabling portable toliets that they'll be promoting at concerts this summer. The wi-fi WCs will be equipped with plasma screens and key boards so users can flush out their email while evacuating their, well, nevermind. Advertisers are being urged to create special print ads for toliet paper (I've certainly written plenty of crappy ad copy, that's for sure).
I'm thinking, long lines and germs. Ewwwwwwwww. Here's a first-hand account.
