This spectacular afghan was knit by my friend Lori Goldman as a wedding present for one of her college pals. Lucky, lucky girl! The yarns: Interlacements Peru, Alamo and Big Loop; Colinette Tagliatelli; Brown Sheep Worsted and Bulky; Mission Falls 1824 Wool.
Me, just slogging away on my WIPs, nary an FO in sight. Sigh.
Daily rant: You can carry concealed weapons now in Colorado (with certain restrictions; thankfully, it's not OK to bring guns to school). This is going to spark a Western-style shoot out between the state and municipalities, who aren't so wild about having gun-toting yahoos roaming their streets and public facilities.
We need to spend money on this like we need holes in our socks.
