It lives!

Beware of The Blob, it creeps
And leaps and glides and slides
Across the floor
Right through the door
And all around the wall
A splotch, a blotch
Be careful of The Blob
--by Burt Bacharach

Doing the Monster Mash: My friend Lori Goldman has been valiantly plugging away on Melanie Falick's diaper bag from Knitting for Baby for months. Since it's destined to be boiled and thrashed, why did Falick design it in pokey seed stitch? Lori dubbed this beauty, "The Monster," and in honor of The Monster's incarnation pre-felting, I present you with the theme song from the 1958 classic, The Blob. (Certainly gave me plenty of post-atomic age nightmares as a child!) Will post pics of The Monster tamed and felted!
