Microsoft Unveils Online Meeting Service, By Helen Jung, AP Business Writer (Sept 15, 2003) announces the availability of Microsoft Office Live Meeting, arepackaging of PlaceWare conferencing services which Microsoft bought last year.

According to the article, Live Meeting "runs virtual meetings connecting as many as 2,500 participants worldwide." And "...enhances conference calls by adding a Web component. Participants can view presentations on the meeting site, collectively edit or change documents, type and send questions to the moderator, and perform other tasks.
