My One-Week Birthday at the Cambridge Riverfest
Today I practiced all the facial expressions I know (below). Dad says my range is still pretty limited, but I think I'm doing very well for one week old, thank you very much. We celebrated my one-week birthday (wow -- it seems like I have always been here) today by spending a few hours walking around the annual Riverfest on the Charles River right near Quincy House. There were SO many people, and zillions of little kids and babies in strollers, but no one as small as me. Yea!! We started the day by hanging out in the little park by Peet's Coffee in Harvard Square (which mama and dad say is the only thing that let them live here for two years). Then I got to meet some of mom, dad and Celia's great friends in Quincy House, Alexandra, David, and Tim. And then we went for a nice walk through JFK park by the river, where I had a lovely meal and Celia tried to teach me always to smell the flowers. We were outside almost all day and it was GREAT. I think I am definitely going to be the outdoor type (and I will have to be to keep up with my sister!).
