The Doctor Says I'm GREAT! OK, so the doctor's visit wasn't so bad at all. I did have to have all my clothes taken off (WHY is it so cold in there?), and they poked and prodded and shined bright lights and stuff, but it was still fine. Best of all, they weighed me and I have gained weight -- I'm now 8 pounds and 8 ounces. All that constant nursing is paying off -- I knew it. Everything else seems fine, and the doctor was very impressed by how I could lift my head and turn it at the same time. Ha, that's nothing! After we got home, another of our great friends in Quincy House, Tracy (mother of 1-year old Nate, the next-youngest baby in the house and, if you ask me, a real cutie), brought over a lasagna and salad for mama and dad. I, once again, ate none of it, but my parents and Celia say it was delicious. People here are SO nice! 8:44:32 PM     So Much to Look At I'm spending more and more time now just looking around and checking everything out. And it is all very cool -- there are so many great things to see. Like my hands, for example, or a finger. And they even move -- wow!! Last night Anne and Leslie came over again and took Celia and I to the playground (I did baby neck lifts in my stroller while Celia raced around like a crazy person). Then they came home and had dinner with us, during which, exhausted by all the excitement, I promptly fell sound asleep Celia, in usual fashion, entertained everyone by being a complete goof (I like her more and more all the time!). More excitement later today: I get to see the doctor for my 10-day checkup. Celia assures me there are no more shots this early, so maybe it won't be so bad! 2:47:31 PM
