Paul Yao is another Windows CE voice that I always watch for. His entertaining presentations are informative, thought provoking, and to the point. When he announced that he was doing a .NET Compact Framework book for Addison-Wesley, I cringed (as Dan Fox and I are doing a book as well). Fortunately, his will be a very complete programming resource, where ours is a high level look at solution architectures using .NETCF. And whenever Addison-Wesley is doing a book, you can bet on a high quality book.
In another cool twist, Paul has two versions of the book. One is for C# and one is for VB.NET. Why couldn't I have thought of that?
Anyway, Paul is asking for reviewers and is providing chapters of the book. Sign up and tell Paul that I sent you. I have been reading these chapters and I highly recommend this book. It is a good read on the internals of Pocket PC and how to access them from managed code. You'll realize that you are not in a candy store with his strong samples. Great job, Paul!
