I adore how rainy days seem to bring out a more thoughtful side of people.
My friend Avocado Tom wrote nice, soft words about the rainy day.
Dallas told me his rainy day story: Ok, so I woke up an hour early to go to the DMV and change my address on my driver's license...and... because of the rain [and the idiots who are afraid of it] I ended up getting to the DMV 30 before I had to be at work and used all that time waiting in the line to get my number..So, I left and came to work and because I work with idiots who are also afraid of the rain, I had my office to myself for about an hour...this gave me time to do some reading and reflecting and I began to formulate my action plan for the Fun Party website...The result? Get Angry! Get involved. It's Fun for America!
Okay, so it wasn't sweet, but he was motivated. Normally he wants to go home and sleep away the rain.
Kristen wrote me at lunch and randomly said she could use a long walk in the rain...
Mostly, for me, I just want to cuddle when it rains and watch it fall. It gives my mind a break....almost a focus off of self. But, since i can't do that, I'm trying to keep warm at work:

I look a little scary.
