My questions for David:
1. If you could relive one day of your life, which day would it be?
2. Who has been the most influential person in your life?
3. If money were no object, what would you do with your days?
4. If you had to be the bat or the ball, which would you be and why?
5. Describe your idea of a perfect evening out with your wife.
I don't really know you, so, you know...they were kind of random. :)

I should be in bed, but my mind is racing...so I don't feel like lying down and giving into additional mind chatter. I tried to learn to knit tonight and I didn't do very well. It's hard. I'll keep trying. I like the idea of hanging out at coffee shops or with friends and doing it. The mind chatter is more about boys. Why do I even want to date right now? Why not just take time for me? Dating is hard. Relationships are hard. Spending time on me is not. Learning new things. Working hard. Spending time with friends. Going to the gym. Painting. These things are not as hard as the things that give me mental anguish. Yet, I seek the trials. What do I want out of relationships? Why am I wanting one? I'll have plenty of money for retirement, so I don't really need kids to take care of me. hhhmm...ugh. What is the purpose? Love? I got love. I got more really good friends than most. And a good family. Blah.

My new favorite song...
BRIGHT EYES LYRICS
First Day Of My Life
This is the first day of my life
I swear I was born right in the doorway
I went out in the rain suddenly everything changed
Their spreading blankets on the beach
Yours is the first face that I saw
I think I was blind before I met you
Now I don't know where I am
I don't know where I've been
But I know where I want to go
And so I thought I'd let you know
That these things take forever
I especially am slow
But I realize that I need you
And I wondered if I could come home
Remember the time you drove all night
Just to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange you said everything changed
You felt as if you had just woke up
And you said "this is the first day of my life
I'm glad I didn't die before I met you
But now I don't care I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy"
So if you want to be with me
With these things there's no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I'd rather be working for a paycheck
Then waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

From Tisha
1} If you were given $5 million to start up your own business what would it be and why? Let's see....something to do with kids. Maybe a new children's publishing company 'cause the books that are coming out this day are just not up to par. Most importantly in my company there'd be these things:
- A chair room. Similar to a conference room, but with all these crazy/cool chairs. Like a hanging chair, bean bags, recliners, you get the point...so people could have a chair they adore while we brainstorm creatively.
- Nap time. C'mon...we all need it after lunch.
- A workout room. Not a novel idea, but I haven't worked a place with one.
- A shower (see above)
- Walls that are not white. At least not plain white.
- Kool-aid. Drink up.
- Kid-friendly areas to bring our test subjects, um, readers.
- And probably some type of literacy program to support the community(ies) that support us.
2} You will receive an award in five years, what will it be and who is the audience? Probably it'll be an award for some wonderful music or book I write. Or my contribution to the community.
3} If you could be ten years old again for one whole day, knowing what you know now, how would you spend it? (did you make it be before we were friends on purpose). Honestly I'm more of a kid now than I was then. I would spend some time with grandma brown and grandma. And I would go to the park and play with Raymond...and then both of us play cards with mom. And I would get that perm that I got in 5th grade straightened. :)
4} If you could communicate with any animal, what would it be and why? Carole. Because I love her the most of any animal ever.
5} If you could be invisible for an hour, where would you go and what would you do? The answer to this question changes with the hour. Though, really...my nosiness has changed. Mostly as I age I find out I don't want to know what people don't want me to know. For this hour I'd like to be on some sunny beach...and since I'm invisible, maybe I'd lay out...you know, nude. heh.
If you'd like to be interviewed...

You will update your blog/site with the answers to the questions 4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post 5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you'll ask them five questions.

I didn't set my alarm for it, but my body woke me up and told me to workout. Darn body. :)
