Michael's Corner asks... "With Michael free and Martha out, the Runaway over, what will Fox do?"

Their job perhaps?...  Like my newspaper is doing....

Today's N&R stuck to their locally-aimed guns in the face of the Michael Jackson verdict.  I'm sure the temptation was great to do an obligatory above-the-fold headline on the trial's outcome.  Instead I was greeted by a picture of, and a story about, the The Boss coming to Greensboro when I took my paper out of its plastic wrapper this morning.  Their wire-provided Michael Jackson coverage was in it's rightful place... bottom of the front page

Good call guys.  I heard everything I needed to hear about the Jackson case as I walked in my front door yesterday afternoon.  Jinni told me of the announcement, which had arrived in an email news alert from CNN just minutes after the trial's judge thanked the Jackson jury for their service.  My response was... "good, I didn't think he was guilty either..."  and went on with life.
