Ingrid, Kathy’s other dog, appears to be eating up her new status as the solo household dog. “Mine, all mine!” she seems to be saying this morning as she runs around the house, bathing in the attention. Dogs are so unsentimental.
This morning I am going to hablar español with mis amigas – first time in weeks. I hope we can pick up the pace and get a more regular thing going again. I’m feeling very rusty.
Tomorrow I have a meeting about potential new corporate work. Other than that, projects are either pending or on hold or in review. I need to revisit my marketing strategy this week. It gets very unmotivating when no matter what you do the work just doesn’t seem to come in. I could do more, but I know from the experiences of several friends – and from talking to my clients – that things are still slow. Still, it’s time to reengage myself.
Speaking of which, I am meeting someone new after work today. Back into the fray…
