Maybe I'll practice a little "air guitar" this weekend. Tomorrow morning I'm heading back up to New Hampshire to visit my folks, probably watch some of the Red Sox victory parade on TV, and maybe get a walk on the beach if it's not raining. Then I have to perform "chaperone" duties for the evening, staying overnight at Amy's house so she and her husband can get away for an anniversary weekend in Portsmouth without worrying about her 17-year-old son, my godson, throwing an inadvertant party or having his girlfriend over. He's a good kid, but since Amy and I remember when we were his age and what we got up to, it seemed a good idea to have an adult in the house Saturday night while they're away.
