Thanks to Lifehacker for this tip. (Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down.. bonus points to anyone who knows that song)

Just a public service reminder -- do you know where all the USB memory sticks are in your plant? Could be a big security risk. Probably needs a policy and occasional reminder. Check out this post from GigaOm.

I've read Bob Lewis's columns for years. Here's one on attitude adjustment that should remind you that only you can fix your outlook on life. Is your glass the right size?

A posting on Slashdot on futuristic office layouts. Sounds interesting. I only lived in a cubical city once -- and it wasn't pretty, or productive.

Here's a white paper "Data Logger Essentials for Building Commissioning" from Onset Computers. The white paper provides building owners, building commissioners, performance contractors, HVAC engineers and others with tips and advice on effectively using data loggers to analyze building performance.

I keep looking at the building automation space to see if it makes sense for expanded Automation World coverage. We'll have some coverage in the March issue. I'm considering expanding it a little. Any thoughts welcome.
