Thanks to Amy's Visit [Posted by Kim]
My best friend Amy, and I were on our way to Goose Island or the like to have lunch and watch the Cubbies on the big screens. Along the way we were offered a couple of tickets at face value, pretty good seats too. So we had a good old American beer, dog and baseball Sat. afternoon. What a game! After that we ran downtown to a bridal shop and checked out a some gowns (FUN!) for an hour. Then went to a typical Chicago neighborhood street festival, where we ran into a bunch of college girlfriends. From there we went to a house party and a bar. On Sunday we slept in and then rode our bikes along the lake front on a beautiful day to catch up with Nancy who was doing the walk for the Cure. Ended the weekend with a little shopping with my brother. I forgot how much fun it can be to stay home for a weekend and just do things on the fly! It would have been perfect if Troy was with.
