Caving to Pressure [posted by Troy] The NY Times reports that WalMart is starting to loosen up its health care limits in response to the negative publicity it is getting. Most of us who don't care for Wally World do not necessarily want to see the store go away, we just want it to live up to its responsibility. For instance, we don't like that its employees are supplimented by welfare tax dollars while it gets record profits. If you refuse to shop there, we too can help change WalMart.

Old Computer Music [posted by Troy] Tree Wave is a group out of Texas that uses old computers (like Commodore 64s) and turns them into musical instruments. They actually use printers to make music. They have a few MP3s on their site that are pretty cool. I am not sure if these guys are going to be hitting the big charts any time soon, but they are inventive and worth a listen.

Hours [posted by Troy] Tonight, we went to dinner over around Irving Park Rd and Sheridan. On the way, we walked by a little shop that specialized in ESP and card reading. They were closed but their hours were in the window. Here's my question, if you really had ESP, why would you need to post your hours? Wouldn't you already know when people would be stopping by for your services and make arrangements to meet them or at least leave them a note?
