Online Editors [posted by Troy]
This USA Today article discusses the subculture that is forming around Wikipedia. It's pretty interesting. I am not a huge fan of Wikipedia, mostly because you can't trust it at any instance for real research, BUT, there clearly is a huge devotion by many individuals that want this tool to be useful.

Still watching [posted by ZelderBar]
It's a bit disturbing, but recent reports have surfaced claiming that the government continues to work on creating their "Total Information Awareness" database. This will pull together a range of information sources so that the watch dog in the sky will know everything that you do. Check out this CSM story. The thing that troubles me is that Congress shut this program down in 2003, but the administration decided to keep working on it. There's a conflict here waiting to brew.
