1970 [posted by Troy]
Here's one that Father Swanson and his friend Don Worth will probably like. I found this clip of Pete Seeger on the Johnny Cash Show from 1970. I enjoy Pete Seeger quite a bit. He was clearly at the heart of the folk movement, and in this clip, he and Cash play some old stuff. It's a piece of folk history and 1960s history all at once.

Music [posted Troy]
I've been playing with YOUTube on and off recently. I'm not uploading videos or anything, but I am just seeing what there is to find on this site. I've found some good music clips. For instance, here's Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam, which may well be my favorite Pearl Jam song. OR, here's Eddie Vedder singing I See Red in New Zealand with Neil Finns Sons Band which is pretty freakin' cool. OR, how about Ruby Soho by Rancid? Cool. Or, for all of you Baby Boomers, how about Paul Singing with the rest of the Beatles the Long and Winding Road? Or, You can view the performance of John Cages' 4'33" and ask whether this is "musc" or if this is a post-modernist, overly-academic attempt at absurdism. I think that Cage would have gotten a big kick out of us watching 4'33" at home, over internet, since the piece is an entire orchestra sitting quietly.
