A Solution for the Environmental Impact of Cycling Chi-Burns to the Rescue [From the Comments of Chi-Burns] This comment was worth it's own post. It was in response to the post below about the negative impact to the environment made by cycling: To counteract the strain on the environment, I think one out of every 10 avid cyclers should be assassinated at any time in the 12 month period beginning with the first April following thier attainment of age 74.5. Not only would this eliminate the bow-legged elderly, it would reduce the number of cyclers taking up space on the road. I will in turn have more pavement to swerve around in my coal burning car as I try to drive while dipping my chicken nuggets in sweet and sour sauce and throwing styrofoam packing peanuts out the window. Also, the assassins could wear tiny cameras and film a reality show centering around stalking and murdering the cyclers. Tour de France Black Eyes All Around [posted by Troy] Are you following this doping mess with this year's Tour de France? If not, you should read This NY Times Article. This brings up a litany of questions about the sport. How many people are cheating? How accurate are the tests? How much proof is needed or not needed?
