Back to Living in a Construction Zone
The final stage of our renovations started on Monday. This time it's the upstairs bathroom. While it's no fun living without a shower, they seem to be moving pretty fast. They had it all gutted on the first day, and by the end of the day yesterday they had all the plumbing done, the new sub-floor laid down, and the new tub installed (though no water yet). Luckily I have a shower at work, so it's not been too bad. Our French exchange student comes on Monday, so I'm hoping they're going to be able to meet my deadline of completion by Saturday.
Showtime
Tonight is dress rehearsal for Peter Pan. Iris has been putting in some very long hours (in fact I told her she could stay at home today to try to rest, since she's exhausted). I can't wait to see the show.
