Gone Fishing
Joe and Jamie are off on their first fishing trip of the season today. I'd love to go - it's such a gorgeous day - but I have my last regularly scheduled piano classes today. I'm having the spring recital tomorrow and then I have a few make-up classes to teach next Saturday, and then that's it.
It's job application time for the two teenagers. Iris has one job interview on Monday for a position as a guide at the fish ladder. She's more interested in a job that's coming open at the Arts Centre (9 Yukon teenagers will have a chance to work for five weeks with a professional group from Calgary - then they put on two weeks of performance at the summer street festival) but I told her to leave all her options open at this point and at least go through the job interview for the fish ladder. Alan is hoping to get a job with the local airline, loading cargo. We shall see how it all shakes down.
