Downdog, Brunch and Viola de Gamba Just back from my yoga class and am just grabbing a minute at the computer before the kids and I go out for eggs benedict at one of the local hotels. Joe is at work so he'll miss out.
Last night I went to hear Les Voix Humaines at the Arts Centre. It was a performance of music from the 1600s and 1700s played on traditional instuments (violas da gamba, lute and baroque guitar) along with voice - soprano Suzie LeBlanc (who was amazing). I've always enjoyed the music of this period - even the sad music is somehow full of optimism and hope.
