Back Home I've been in Vancouver for the last week. I couldn't really write about it before I went, because it was in part a birthday surprize for my friend Lucca (seen here with the boy who lives upstairs). It's rare when one can genuinely surprize a psychic, but I somehow managed to do it, with the help of my partner in crime, Marigold (Lucca's mom).

The trip was partly business (I attending a business communicators' conference) but it was partly pleasure too (heavy on the pleasure). I have returned home feeling like a brand new person!
I had a chance to spend some time with my new friend Nori, seen below with some of her art in the background. What a generous person she is - she offered to give me her piano which she can no longer use any more because of her M-S. While I was totally blown away, I suggested she sell it instead and use the money for another purpose. But just the fact that she would even consider giving it to me is a remarkable gesture!

Camping I returned home to camping gear spread throughout every corner of the livingroom. Jamie just left for a three day school camping trip. They're flying into a camp about three hours from here. Joe had the job of driving five kids to the drop-off point an hour away - they've just left. Iris and Alan are both sleeping over at friends' houses so I have the place all to my self. How delicious!
