Fear of
Bandwidth. . .
As podcasters ache for more, lower-cost, bandwidth to distribute their podcasts,
the guy over at
www.everybodyiscrazy.com believes that this same phenomenon will lead to the
decline and fall of the desktop operating system. My personal opinion. . .
Based upon having been through this cycle more than once (mainframe to PC, PC to
LAN, LAN to Web) is that the operating system will indeed change but become more
important rather than less as I will still want to keep private information
stored on my own hardware and not, regardless of the strength of the encryption,
out there in the "cloud" somewhere.
Podcasting. .
.On Nintendo?!?
The BBC is reporting that Nintendo is about to provide software for the the
dual-screen DS handheld that will allow playback of music, video, and one would
expect, podcasts

And Finally. .
.No More Dead Pixels
At least on Samsung monitors. . . From today forward they're guaranteed to be
100% functional. . .What a concept!
