Podcasting
Console. . .
The guys at www.tinyscience.com have
just announced that they've gone beta on their new tools MixCast Live. I just
watched the demo and it's killer! It's an all-in-one podcast production studio.
. . Exactly the kind of app I've thought will be required for
non-audio-engineers to start producing professional podcasts. . . I'm hoping to
give it a whirl soon. . .

One of the co-inventors of XML, whom I met briefly at the XML DevCon last
October, has just started, albeit tentatively, podcasting. He's concerned about
the interactivity (that is it's harder to respond to a podcast than it is a
blog) but I think most podcasters would agree that they get most of their
feedback as comments and just a few audio responses.
