When George Hayes and a neighbor, who wants to remain anonymous, learned that the Harbor Hills Homeowners’ Association had placed liens on their homes for nonpayment of association dues, they couldn’t believe it.

Some residents of the David William Condominium Hotel moved back in over the weekend after the city cleared the cleanup and repairs from an August fire that caused its full evacuation and more than $3 million in damage.

A group of condominium owners in Lincoln Park acted improperly when it met privately this summer and voted to oust the community's board of directors, a judge has ruled.

Condominium owners were some of the first to experience the Florida insurance crunch we have all come realize.  Condo owners on the east coast of Florida will attest to this as they have been treated unreasonably since Hurricane Andrew. Following Andrew, buildings sitting on the coast - some literally feet away from the water - have been under the microscope of insurance carriers.

A woman, hired to watch the books, cheated condo owners out of as much as $100,000, New Smyrna Beach police said Wednesday. Investigators said Cheryl Durley was using the condo owners' dues to fix up her own home and take trips.

The 220 homes along the proposed path of the freeway on the southern edge of Ahwatukee could be casualties in the freeway fight but so, it turns out, could the homeowners associations' budgets

Eileen Benjamin was arrested Sept. 21 and charged in the vandalism of a car owned by Bob McEwen. The incident happened sometime during the night of Sept. 13 or early morning hours of Sept. 14 in the parking lot of Bay Mariner, according to police reports, where they are both residents. McEwen also is president of the condominium association there.
