If you live in a townhome complex, you probably pay monthly dues to take care of anything that goes wrong on the outside. Well one homeowner is having major problems.

Some want to sue him, others want to work with him.  Either way, David Byker will close the Gleneagle Golf Course at 6150 14th Ave. today, leaving residents of 400 condominiums surrounding the course wondering whether they will be looking at tall grass on vacant land.

Richard Pierce said the 2 1/2 hours he spent holding a sign outside a Main Street condominium complex on Thursday paid off. After a stand-off that began in March when he found water in the basement of the new Dunham Farm condominium he had agreed to buy, Pierce said the developer offered a settlement late Thursday.

Citing a need to uphold the U.S. Constitution, the township board of supervisors has adopted an ordinance that will prohibit new associations from infringing on residents' rights to exercise their freedom of religion, speech and ability to assemble peacefully.
