- The big week begins with a bang
-
So this was an unusually busy day but one I'll not soon forget. I went down to the Moscone center this morning to get my badge for the conference. Managed to sneak past security and get into the big exhibit hall that doesn't open until tomorrow and once in, you can pretty much just walk around. The Apple booth of course was completely covered in black drapes and everyone coming into the booth had to scan a card. After that, I attended the first hour of Sal's AppleScript course which was amazing. I just wish all teachers could communicate with such clarify and passion for their topic.
I hiked back to the hotel to meet up with everyone from Your Mac Life for the bus trip out to Cupertino. Everyone was very cool and it was great to finally meet so many of them. The Apple campus was insane - just so much history there. We got passes and had lunch at Cafe Mac and did some sightseeing around the campus.
Upon getting back to San Francisco, I attended the last 2 hours of Sals course and then hooked up with my friend Rob from Plasma Design for dinner which was equally cool. Time to hit the hay, going to try and get up really early and go get a good spot in line for the big keynote tomorrow.
