Baby Cubes for homemade baby food.

baby cubes for baby foodIf you[base ']re committed to making your own baby food, these Baby Cubes are a great idea. Our baby has just started eating solids, but he doesn[base ']t eat a very high volume of food at the moment. We[base ']ve been throwing out pureed squash because he doesn[base ']t eat it before it goes bad in the refrigerator. We acquired a set of Baby Cubes which work well because they[base ']re separate with their own lids, you can freeze them, and it[base ']s cheaper than buying a Tupperware set. And because they[base ']re separate pieces (unlike an ice cube tray) you can take them with you when you[base ']re on the go. They come in a set of 10 in a tray and cost $6.95 from the Web site listed below, though you can find similar products in many places.

Griffin BlueTrip.

bluetrip.jpg imageGriffin Technology is riding this iPod horse hard. In addition to new, somewhat low-end products like the Airport Express Stand and SmartDeck, they've also released this new BlueTrip transmitter, which broadcasts audio from any full-size iPod via Bluetooth. Essentially, this turns the iPod into a remote control with all your music selections on board. It's not cheap, at $150, but it does have all the audio outputs you'd expect, including RCA, minijack, and optical.

Griffin has also released a FireWire-based 5.1 audio solution for the Mac called the FireWave [not pictured] .

Sanyo Prototype TV Phone.

sanyoces_proto.jpg imageSanyo was showing off this prototype phone at CES that has a built-in TV tuner. The clamshell screen can be flipped over so television can be watched while it's closed, as well. Don't ask me why, but something clicked inside my brain when I saw this prototype[~]broadcast TV on a phone could be really great. I might even accept streaming video via EV-DO (something this phone ostensibly supports), but it just doesn't have the same punch[~]probably because it wouldn't be free.
