The Day after Holloween and Life is Good
Both my laptop and I are back at work producing. My laptop went to the shop for a new logic board and a new screen. All for no charge thanks to the AppleCare extended policy. I had been complaining that it was running far too hot and freezing far too often. And sure enough! I suspect other things will give some trouble later on because it had been running SO hot for some time.
I spent yesterday clearing out my office. I usually do things like this during May and June. However, this year I had just spent six weeks clearing out the AWAC office downtown inch-by-inch and was not in the mood to do more of the same at home.
It feels so good in here this morning. The two writing projects I've laid aside are neatly arranged and will be easy to pick up and start working on again when the time is right. That particularly feels good. Current projects and work and arranged on shelves instead of on the floor, the couch, and the top of the turn table.The best of all---three huge trash bags of outdated stuff are gone.
