Brrrr!

It was 6 below this morning. To make up for the cold temperatures, it was a beautiful, clear, sunny day. Obviously, the sun didn't have much warmth in it. In fact, to get really warm this morning, I did the ironing. There was a month's worth to do, so it lasted much of the morning.

I played most of the weekend instead of trying to catch up on things around the house. Saturday, I did a couple of Christmas bazaars. I do this once every 5 to 7 years. I started with the Rabbit Creek bazaar---their 29th annual juried craft bazaar. I think this is only the second time I've been to it. It has out grown Rabbit Creek Elementary School and was held at South High School this year. I went because the woman who makes really great glass earrings for me was exhibiting there and brought some new color samples for me. I ordered 5 new pairs.

After earring buying, I went to the Bad Girls of the North exhibit and sale. They have great one-of-a-kind wearable art. I bought a marvelous tapestry jacket---very elegant---that can be dressed up or down.

Sunday, I went to the movie, The Queen. This was my second movie in a month, which breaks a three-year record. One might say The Queen was a fluff piece, but I think that is over rating it. But what the heck, a Sunday afternoon flick.

(Mary, tell Louise hi)
