We're going to Daughter and Ski Boy's for turkey this afternoon. I have the oven on and in a few minutes will fix my contribution---cognac, butter, heavy cream with a few mashed sweet potatoes.
After turkey and the trimmings at 3:00, we're off to the Great Alaska Shootout.
From many year's past Thanksgivings----Over the River and through the Woods---We Gather Together to Ask the Lord's Blessing.
My thanks go to the Pilgrims, their hardships, and their success. They paved the way for my ancestors to come from Germany in 1850 and from Ireland at about the same time. It's called vision, guts, and survival in the face of adversity.
