Brian Adams reports (non-permanent link) on Johanna Jackson and Rebecca's Mersh's races at the European Cup in Miskolc....
'Comfortably in the top half of the 40 strong field Rebecca knew that the judges had been paying close attention to her technique but it came as a shock when, with 600m to of the 10km race she was shown a red card.'
'Rebecca's first dismissal in 8 years of walking and almost 150 races. 'I was gutted, my technique was not good enough, I'm landing flat footed, I need to work on getting my toes up and rolling over my foot.''
