OK, the weblogger dinner next Wednesday already is getting to be good. Mike Sax says he'll show up. It's almost like all the big, famous, .NET webloggers are on campus next week for something, isn't it? Heh.

TabletPC Buzz forums: New TabletPC Dictionary manager. Whoa. That'll bring potentially huge increases in handwriting recognition quality. Will load it up on the tablet tomorrow and give it a try.

Oh, nevermind, now with trackback, we can track who is talking about us (look at Jeff's trackbacks, you'll see that two people have now put the icon on their weblogs). Awesome. Six Apart, the folks who do the Moveable Type weblog system, definitely deserves some kudos for coming up with the trackback idea. Glad I can use it now too!

The other syndication format, otherwise known as "Atom" has a new snapshot out.

If you're going to the PDC and you've added the "going to the PDC" graphic to your Web site (like Robert McLaws did), can you let me know about it? Jeff and I are keeping a list. Thanks!

Anyone see the FogScreen? I wish we could get them to bring it to the PDC.

Hey, the USA's biggest Pistachio plant is run completely from one Tablet PC. Using Wonder Ware and .NET stuff written by Richard Caetano and team. Very cool!

Kudos to Radio UserLand for adding Trackback. I'm gonna add it tonight before I go to bed.

Robert McLaws says he's coming to the Redmond dinner next Wednesday evening, and going to the PDC too!

Sam Gentile is gonna be in Redmond next week. He wants to get a weblogger dinner together. So, how about next Wednesday evening. 7 p.m.? At the Crossroads? If anyone needs a ride from campus, let me know.

Are you going to be at the PDC? Check out what Jeff Sandquist just did. I gotta add that to my weblog.

Hey, I wonder too if Dave Winer will be there?

Don Box's "Band on the Runtime" is gonna play at the PDC? No way! Like Chris Sells says: "PDC is going to rock."

I met with Ken Levy for lunch today. He guarantees me that, despite rumors to the contrary, FoxPro is not dead.

Plus, he gave me one of the best demos I've had in the three months I've been here. I don't wanna spoil his demo, though, since he believes he'll be giving it at the PDC. He's working on an XML tool for the next version of Visual Studio.

Speaking of FoxPro and XML, here's a weblog that covers both of those topics.

Eric Sink: "Bottom line: Microsoft asked me to help them sell my product. In my book, that's pretty darn good partnering. If this continues, I'm obviously going to have to take back all those horrible things I've said about Microsoft."
