Oh geez. Chris Pirillo did a little video of the Channel 9 guy's apartment. Don't drink anything, or operate heavy machinery while watching this.
That has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen. I'm off to see Sting. Have a great weekend!
Jake Luddington has a nice guide for podcasting with Windows Media Player.
Um, Dave, podcasting doesn't just work with an Apple iPod (he just implied that you need an iPod to listen to podcasts). There are a few other devices that you can listen to podcasts on.
Kim Polese seems to think that Microsoft is against Wikis. Hmmm. Kim, you do realize we hired the guy who invented Wikis, right? And we have an open source implementation. Right?
We don't like podcasting? Well, I tell ya, based on my emails from around Microsoft, we LOVE podcasting.
And did you miss that last Saturday the 1,000th employee turned on a blog? And that we support RSS?
Kim, why don't you come up here to Redmond and I'll show you a bunch of people working on the new world.
Thanks to Jeremy Zawodny for taking good notes at the Web 2.0 conference.
I'm loading up my linkblog with stuff. Lots of Gnomedex (make sure you catch the Woz speech over on ITConversations), Web 2.0 conference stuff, podcasting stuff, reaction to my pieces yesterday about content creation trends and Tablet PC. My rants yesterday sure got a lot of discussion going. I want to reply to it all, but just don't have the time. Gotta get some sleep, tomorrow's a busy day -- just like today was (you know it's bad when you have 160 emails at 5:30 p.m. -- I got through all of them, though). Ends with the Sting concert. Can't wait for that!
I'm very honored when someone like Nick Bradbury, who wrote FeedDemon, and Allaire's Homesite, among others, says "exactly right" in reaction to my advice to Bill Gates.
I'll say more this weekend after I get some sleep. Have a good Friday!
Brian Gold is blogging about a pretty important security vulnerability. If you're an ASP.NET user, you'll want to pay attention to this one. Brian has the correct links.
This one is important to patch ASAP.
CBC Radio's Tod Maffin has a report online especially about the blog/podcast community.
His blog's URL is cool too: http://iloveradio.org
