For tomorrow: What is a full peer? 9:58:37 PM

Now I want to know, why is there no "en-ny" language? What's going on there? I bet there are more people who speak like a New Yorker than there are who speak like an Australian. We want our equal rights. 5:59:35 PM

This is a test. I'm working on support for the <language> element in the main RSS feed for the weblog (categories already have the feature). So if this is working, Dave's Handsome Radio Blog will now appear to be an Australian English weblog. Eh mate! Throw a prawn on the barbie. Boy it's a hot summer this year, what do you think? Yeah, I know. I'm from New York. That's pretty far from Australia. OK so let's see if it works. It did. Yeah. 5:56:19 PM

I used a different template for the HTML rendering of the Michegas category to prove that I could. 11:39:30 AM

I've got the user interface coded and tested. Now I want to see if the notification gets through to Weblogs.Com for both Have's Handsome Radio Blob, and the Michegas category. Back in a minute. Not sure if it worked. Trying again. My Events page says the notification was sent, but Weblogs.Com may think my site is a ping-spammer. I'll wait a few minutes and try updating again. OK, it's been about 45 minutes (two phone conversations) so now I'll try updating and see if both the home page and the category page show up on Weblogs.Com. Now I think I have the glitches worked out. You should see both Michegas and DHRB on Weblogs.Com. Wish me luck. 9:49:49 AM

Just for fun, I'm now rendering my Michegas category in HTML as well as XML. It turned out to be as much fun as I hoped it would. I added code that notifies Weblogs.Com when a category home page is updated, and I made the code better, more loosely coupled. Should make upstreaming perform just a little better. Every bit counts.

I have to put a user interface on it, and do some testing and then I should be ready to release the parts. ETA -- about an hour. 7:09:31 AM
