Drivel:  Since when does a single storm have a national economic impact?  Give me a break.  There must be nothing better to write about.
##Storm Adds Insult to an Injured Economy. The Presidents' Day blizzard will not help an economy that was already struggling to get back on its feet. By David Leonhardt. [New York Times: Business]  11:48:01 PM   comments ()

Drivel:  Over the past week I have rewired, rebuilt, and reorganized my network -- physically and logically.  My Windows workstation has become the entertainment center in my home office.  I listen to music on it, rip MP3s, and play games.  My Linux workstation has become my workhorse.  I run my LAMP environment on it, develop on it, do email from it, and host my R&D projects on it.  My laptop runs my mobile applications, like Radio, and stores my client data and copies of critical stuff.  I backup my laptop to CD's religiously.  I run a Windows and Linux testing environment on older machines which also serve as an integration studio for the two platforms.  1:03:30 PM   comments ()

Drivel:  I have had a great time getting acquainted with AlwaysOn Network the past couple of weeks.  It is a great site, full of great tech insider info.  However, it appears to me that their is a lot editorial control over the articles and columns that get posted.  They are calling their columns blogs.  Their articles are shorter than traditional articles, but aren't quite blog entires.  The comments/discussion functionality is weak, at best.  This site begins to blurs the lines between blogging and traditional news sites.  12:10:30 PM   comments ()

Drivel:  We woke up to a couple of feet of snow this morning.  Pictures are forthcoming.  10:12:32 AM   comments ()
