Drivel: We are in the throws of launching a decently complicated web site using Manila. There are approximately a dozen individual Manila web sites; each with their own requirements, design, and set of users and editors. One of the things that we are finding difficult with Manila is synchronizing users. There is no notion of a global directory of users in Manila. This has been one of the biggest problems with this implementation. We have a handful of users that require Managing Editor rights across the entire site. Another handful requires Content Editor rights across the entire site. And yet another handful requires Contributing Editor right across some of the sites. There are about fifty editors of various types across the dozen Manila sites. You do the math. The possible combinations are huge. If the number of sites begins to grow and the number of editors increases, the management task will become unwieldy. 10:35:05 PM
