Makes Sense, Don'tcha Know... When I first started using Radio, I was more concerned than I should have been with flow. Early on, I noticed the way McGee links to folks in a unique way that takes full advantage of of Radio's capabilities. Jim would include an entire post from someone's blog, rather than just a particular teaser, which might increase flow to the other person's blog. This meant that the readers of Jim's blog wouldn't have to visit the quoted blog to read that post. Jim was creating a 'sticky' site, from one perspective. But Jim wasn't operating from that perspective. Since then, having read Jim's own blog(s) for some time, now I better understand how he approaches blogging. Jim has never wavered from his own stated reasons. Jim blogs to create a personal Knowledge storage space. He blogs entire entries so that he never has to worry about link rot. I once used to resent (in a small, very petty way) this behavior. Now, I realize how truely smart Jim's method actually is, as I try to find things again. Jim has his important chunks captured in his blog. I have to try to remember too many details and pray that their server space is still populated. Jim, you rock! 10:29:25 PM [] blah blah blah'd on this
