Glenn: "San Jose, We Have a Problem."  [Scripting News]

This ongoing discussion in the online world focuses on the recent changes to the San Jose Mercury News' website. As a result of the changes many links to previous articles and discussions were broken.

As regular subscriber to the hard copy edition, I infrequently visit the website. In my opinion, the Mercury News website is, at best, a difficult place to find yesterday's news. So while the discussion is interesting, it is not a major concern for me.

I am far more concerned with the declining quality of the writing, questionable editorial stances, and poor coverage of neighborhood issues.

More on my brother's boondoggle.

He is teaching a group of students from Lewis & Clark in Guam. It's part of a Lewis & Clark semester abroad program.

I am trying to get him interested in Radio for the programs website.

This is an annoying error:

500 Server Error

CanÕt evaluate the expression because the name ÒrefererÓ hasnÕt been defined.

It happens occasionally when I hit the back button to my Radio site. Most recently when I went from my weblogs page at <http://127.0.0.1:5335/system/pages/weblogsCom> to MacinTouch and back.

Of course when I tried it again, it worked fine. Any suggestions?

It's a bright and sunny morning in San Jose.

I'm not really awake though, I stayed up until 2 to watch the hockey game. The Sharks won. yay!
