Radio Community Server
This is very cool addition to Radio and Frontier, allowing people to set up local community servers. This is the tool that I want to use to build a community news service for San Jose neighborhoods. Unfortunately I don't have time to play with it today.
I tried a quick dip, without carefully reading the docs, which bordered on disaster. Next time, I promise to be calm and not rush into things. Many thanks to Jake at UserLand for bailing me out.

Google bombing takes advantage of the search engine's particular characteristics to overrank a chosen web page by creating many references to it in "blogs." [ MacInTouch ]
You can follow the link above to a mindless story that takes forever to load. I left wondering what the point is.

Recipes
Michele has been giving me recipes lately. Tidbits with advertising, cut out of the Sunday paper. They work, but they are bland. The first thing I do is double the pepper. If it's a seasoning, double or triple the dose. Salt is the only thing I cut back on.
Food needs to be lively. It needs to bite back. It needs to remind us that we are eating something. If we forget that, we might lose track when something is eating us.
