Welcome back my friends...

Every so often, I put on some music I haven't listened to in twenty plus years. It's amazing to feel the drive and passion of a 17 year old sweep over me in just a few notes.

This is stuff that I wrote off years ago. But now hearing it again, I can't help but turning it up. Once again I'm a silly kid jumping around my living room. The notes grab me and throw me about.

I know every note, every lyric, as they wash over me. Amazing.

Catching Up

It's been a long week, heavy with work. I've had very little time or energy to write or see what is going on in the world. Today's rain surprised me, I haven't had a chance to pull up my Radio desktop to see the latest satellite or radar image.

After opening the week screwing up in RCS, I settled down into hammering out a new Manila plugin for De Anza College. The plugin lets site editors list workshops that users can sign up for. It took three days, but I am pleased with the result. I will post a link to an example when I can. I finished out the week on another job that is converting content from Frontier outlines into xml documents.

Mix in the community meetings and the lingering head cold, and it was a long week. I'm glad that its over, now I will try to catch up on my sleep, and with the rest of the world.
