San Jose Election Results March 4, 2003 Measure A passed in today's special election with 58% Yes to 42% No. As a result, expansion of the airport can proceed ahead the traffic relief measures. With the Mercury News supporting the measure, multiple glossy mailings, and recorded phone messages, its passage was likely.
