This weekend, I have received pre-recorded phone calls from Bill, Al, and Barbara. My folks have received calls from Bill and Arnold.
Given that over 50 million people signed up for the do not call list, I don't see how the multiple pre-recorded phone calls are going to do anything but piss people off.
It is almost cute at first. But as the calls multiply, they get tiresome quickly.
This could backfire. Unlike spam, there is a downside for the marketer. I might just get fed up with all of the pre-recorded phone calls and decide not to vote. Or worse, I might vote for folks who aren't inundating me with spam calls.
