ESPN is serving hockey tonight. They tell us that we will get regional action, either Boston at Philadelphia or San Jose at Chicago. So on the west coast, in San Jose, we get Boston at Philadelphia. Huh?
Where are they showing the Sharks game? In the southeast?
UPDATE:
It turns out that it was DirectTV's fault and not ESPN. The email that I received from ESPN explained how DirectTV uses a separate channel for ESPN's regional field. Unfortunately I didn't have my system set up to see that channel.
I would like to apologize for calling ESPN a bunch of morons. I would also like to thank them for responding to my question, even though I didn't get the response until well after the game was over.
