Pictures!
It's time for pictures.
Today it was snowing in Shrewsbury, MA. October snow.... brrrrr....
This is a picture of yard across the street - they always have a nearly perfect lawn. I probably won't ever have a lawn that nice... but I'm really enjoying seeing theirs.

The folks across the street also have a cute little pumpkin. Looks kinda cold today:

These are some trees I saw on the way to work (near 495 and the Mass Pike):

These are the pumpkins that were grown in the pumpkin field at work (near the parking lot). The maintenance folks were having a contest - I'm not sure who won in the end.

A few days ago, on my way into the office building I noticed a birds nest on the ground close to the building. The wind was really fierce that day - fortunately the nest was empty (probably gone south for the winter):

(F1 Boston pictures tomorrow...)

Sheet Music to Set Tiny Hands a-Tinkling. There are many ways to use the Internet to help children learn to play music. By Michelle Slatalla.
There is a strangeness to this article. The NYTimes refuses to link to any website (other than in an ad or within their own site). This is an example where the story refers to a few internet sites to download music. It only makes sense to link to them... but the story doesn't. Weird. Since there isn't a link, most folks won't even try to go to the various sheet music sites. You could easily highlight one of the website names, copy it (edit -> copy) and then paste it in the top of your browser (click the http: thing and then click edit -> paste).
Since the NYTimes won't provide links, I will:
- Sheet Music Plus
- J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc.
- Piano Lane
- Musicnotes
- Piano-Pal
- Barnes & Noble
- Sheet Music Direct
